The Curse of Bridge Hollow cast: Who stars in the Netflix Halloween film?

Imagine all of your adorable and not-so-adorable Halloween decorations suddenly coming to life. That’s what the characters in The Curse of Bridge Hollow have to contend with in the upcoming Netflix movie releasing this Friday.

Howard (Marlon Wayans) and his teenage daughter Sydney (Priah Ferguson) team up to take down the mischievous spirit responsible for animating the decorations and turning them on the townspeople.

But the cast of this movie is an excellent array of hilarious comedic actors you’ll recognize from other movies and television shows. Below we’ll detail who stars in the film and where you might have seen them before!

The Curse of Bridge Hollow cast

Priah Ferguson is the lead female in this movie, playing teenage Sydney. Ferguson is best known for playing Erica Sinclair in the Netflix series Stranger Things. She also voices Bailey in the Disney animated series Hamster & Gretel.

Comedian Marlon Wayans is the movie’s male lead, playing Ferguson’s father, Howard. Wayans has been in many popular comedies throughout his career, including the Scary Movie franchise, White Chicks, and A Haunted House 1 and 2.

The Curse of Bridge Hollow also nabbed Kelly Rowland! Rowland was, of course, a member of Destiny’s Child, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Rowland is an actress and television personality in addition to a singer as she has appeared in many films, either as an actor or by contributing to the soundtrack. She plays Emily in the movie.

Lauren Lapkus is Mayor Tammy in The Curse of Bridge Hollow. You might recognize Lapkus from her time playing Susan Fischer in Orange is the New Black, Vivian in Jurassic World, or Agent Phoebe Donnegan in Good Girls.

Other actors involved in the movie are John Michael Higgins, Rob Riggle, and Nia Vardalos. Higgins and Riggle are well-known comedic actors with lengthy careers. Higgins has starred in over 150 projects, recently voicing Doug on Bob’s Burgers and playing Principal Toddman in Peacock’s Saved by the Bell reboot. He plays yet another principal in this movie. Riggle is right behind him with 130+ projects to his name!

Vardalos is a talented actress who plays Toula Portokalos in the My Big Fat Greek Wedding movies. She’ll also appear in an upcoming episode of Netflix’s Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities.
