Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities trailer, release date, cast, synopsis and more

This fall is shaping up to be an excellent time for genre fans. At Geeked Week 2022, Netflix unveiled the first official teaser for the highly-anticipated anthology series Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities (formerly titled 10 After Midnight).

Below you can watch the chilling teaser, first look video, check out new images and find out exactly when the series will premiere, plus info on each unique installment, cast members, directors, writers and much more. Each episode focuses on a different story, some of which are originals from Guillermo Del Toro himself. There is also one episode based on an H.P. Lovecraft story.

If you’re someone who loves horror and/or anthology shows then you won’t want to miss out on this one when it debuts later this year.

Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities release date

Guillermo Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities will debut Tuesday, October 25, launching a special four day, double episode Netflix & Chills Halloween event.  Two all-new Cabinet of Curiosities tales will debut daily through Friday, October 28,  when the entire collection of eight stories will be available to Netflix members around the world.

On Sept. 30, Netflix unveiled the official trailer for Cabinet of Curiosities and gave fans a first look at each of the chilling stories and all of the actors bringing them to life. While the teasers released prior to the trailer provided teases of the horror imagery, the new clip delves a little bit deeper into the stories being told in the eight episodes of the anthology series.

The previously released teaser does not convey much, going more of the route of American Horror Story with subtle imagery and hints at the general vibe of the series more than anything. It feels very gothic!

In mid-August, Netflix also released a first look video that gives us a peek at what some of the show’s creatures look like and features Guillermo del Toro discussing his process of designing the monsters.
