Elite is one of Netflix’s top Spanish series and it’s now in its sixth season. Elite season 5 arrived on Netflix on April 8 and a sixth season is coming on Nov. 18.

Elite begins with three working-class students who get scholarships to the elite school, Las Encinas in Spain. But their transfer to the exclusive private school causes a clash between them and the wealthy students, leading to murder.

It’s filled with drama, suspense, and plenty of thrills. There are so many relationships to root for and be against. The mysteries are compelling and leave you wanting more. But I think what’s most enjoyable about Elite is the amazing character development. Over the seasons, viewers get to see all of the characters grow. Of course, the amazingly talented cast is a plus, too!

Although Elite touches on many sensitive topics and can be very dark at times, there are enough humorous moments to balance it out.
