A new week is here and a ton of new movies and shows are being added to Netflix including a new horror movie, a new season of a baking competition show, a new thriller movie, and a new horror series.

One of the first new things coming to Netflix this week is Mr. Harrigan’s Phone. It hits the streaming service on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022. The horror film is based on a short story by Stephen King and follows a teen who befriended and did jobs for Mr. Harrigan before he died. The teen puts his smartphone into his pocket before the burial and when he sends a text to his dead friend, he is shocked to get a message back.

The new film stars Jaeden Martell, Donald Sutherland, Cyrus Arnold, Alexa Niziak, Kirby Howell, Baptiste, and Joe Tippett.

Nailed It! is also back for season 7 on Wednesday, Oct. 5. The show features amateur bakers who must recreate desserts made by seasoned professionals. Some of the creations don’t look great, to say the least. Whoever does the best wins the episode and $10,000.

Nicole Byer is the host and Jacques Torres judges each and every creation along with a guest judge.

As she is forced to confront her dark past, her stable life starts to unravel.
