Is Barbarian on Netflix?

The horror thriller Barbarian may not be on everyone’s radar, but fans should definitely be aware that it has been called the WTF movie of the year by /Film. But can Netflix subscribers get in on this horrifying flick?

The narrative for this nightmare-inducing feature follows a woman named Tess who books an Airbnb for the night before a crucial job interview. But when she arrives a strange man is already staying there and it appears the residence has been double booked. Despite having an uneasy feeling about the eerie situation, she reluctantly decides to stay for the night and soon realizes that the mysterious individual is the least of her concerns.

The cast for Barabraian is jam-packed with reliable talent, including Suspicion star Georgina Campbell, Bill Skarsgård from Clark, and F is For Family regular Justin Long. Also in the mix are Matthew Patrick Davis, Richard Brake, Kurt Braunohler, and Jaymes Butler. Behind the camera, the film was written and directed by Zach Cregger.

The film premiered at San Diego Comic-Con on July 22, 2022, where it received stellar reviews, and Barbarian will most assuredly be a terrifying affair fans of the genre will not want to miss.

Is Barbarian available on Netflix?

So many excellent titles make their way to the streamer, and it’s hard to keep track of all the options readily available. But when it comes to Barbarian, fans should know the film is not available on Netflix. Instead, the movie will head to HBO first after its theatrical run.

It’s not ideal by any means that members can’t get terrified from the spine-chilling motion picture, but it is not the end of the world. There are several exceptional horror titles ready to watch right now for subscribers, including Choose or Die, Bird Box, #Alive, and Blood Red Sky, just to name a few.
