Partner Track ending explained: Is the dawn raid successful?

To make amends for all the harm she caused on Parsons Valentine’s behalf, Ingrid assists Z in organizing a dawn raid to oust Ted Lassiter and ensure that the company will protect his green tech innovation at Sun Corp.

The dawn raid succeeds thanks to the last-minute addition of Wanda Jean Weaver. Rachel convinces Wanda to use the cash from taking over Grammy Goose Weaver’s legacy and purchase enough shares to give them majority stakes in Sun Corp.

At the last second, Wanda arrives at the shareholder meeting to give her vote and remove Ted Lassiter as the corporation’s president. Z’s father, Franklin Min, chooses Z to be Ted’s successor.

Partner Track ending explained: Why didn’t Ingrid make partner?

The penultimate episode of the season delivers a shocking twist: Ingrid did not make partner. Marty chose Jeff Murphy, but not Ingrid. What’s even more jaw-dropping is the real reason behind Ingrid getting passed over for partner. At the end of the season 1 finale, Marty Adler reveals that he knows Ingrid got arrested.

She neglected to tell him, which is a significant part of why she wasn’t selected. But how did he find out? Well, only one other person knew what happened, Jeff. It’s even more upsetting because Ingrid and Jeff finally got together and admitted to falling in love. How is Ingrid going to get past this betrayal?

Partner Track ending explained: Will Ingrid return to Parsons Valentine & Hunt?

If Partner Track gets a second season, it will be very interesting to see how Ingrid acts around Jeff. Now that Z is in charge of Sun Corp, he demands Marty re-hire Ingrid and makes her the lead on their deal. She’ll be working closely with Z and Jeff on the green tech initiative at Parsons Valentine next season. Talk about tension—and the birth of what will likely be a new love triangle between Ingrid, Z, and Jeff.

Partner Track ending: What happens at the end of the season?

In the finale, Ingrid makes up with her best friends Rachel and Tyler, who help her accomplish the dawn raid and oust Ted Lassiter. Ted is removed, Z takes over, and Ingrid finds out Jeff betrayed her.

The episode sets up an exciting second season that will bring Ingrid back into the fold at Parsons Valentine. Still, she will be forced to work closely with Jeff, which I’m sure will be challenging now that Ingrid knows he is responsible for her not making partner. Plus, we can’t imagine it will be easy to be back in the same work environment as people like Marty Adler and Dan Fallon after everything that happened in season 1.

Partner Track ending: Where do we leave off with Tyler and Rachel?

It’s not just Ingrid who gets left in a precarious position at the end of the season. Rachel and Justin break up since it becomes clear that Rachel isn’t ready for a serious relationship with him and can’t give him the stability he needs. However, it’s not all bad news since she does sign-up for a playwriting course to pursue her new passion for writing.

Meanwhile, Tyler has broken up with his boyfriend and lets off some steam by sleeping with a cute guy he meets at the gym. But there’s a twist. We find out that the guy Tyler hooked up with is his new boss. Tyler will work at a start-up company and will assist Valdo and many other fashion designers in fighting back against Luxe.
