A new thriller film titled End of the Road starring Queen Latifah will be coming to Netflix this year, and we’ve created a guide of everything you need to know about the original movie below.

End of the Road is an upcoming Netflix film helmed by Millicent Shelton from a screenplay written by David Loughery. Christopher Moore wrote the original draft. You might know Shelton’s work from shows like 30 Rock, Run the World, Insecure and Titans. Loughery is known for writing the script for the box office hit The Intruder.

Tracey Edmonds is producing for Edmonds Entertainment, Mark Burg for Twisted Pictures, and Brad Kaplan. Latifah and Shakim Compere are executive producing for Flavor Unit Entertainment.

Latifah leads the cast as the protagonist, Brenda. Ludacris and Beau Bridges star opposite Latifah. Ludacris will play Reggie, Brenda’s brother and Bridges’ role is unknown.

End of the Road synopsis

The story follows a recently widowed woman named Brenda, who is fired from her job and decides to take her family cross-country to start a new life. While on their journey, they’re stopped in the New Mexico desert without any help. But then a mysterious killer begins targeting them. Brenda and her family must then learn to fight back and survive.

"In this high-octane action thriller, a cross-country road trip becomes a highway to hell for Brenda (Queen Latifah), her two kids and her brother Reggie (Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges). After witnessing a brutal murder, the family finds themselves in the crosshairs of a mysterious killer. Now alone in the New Mexico desert and cut off from any help, Brenda is pulled into a deadly fight to keep her family alive.
