Nearly 10 years after it was originally released, a reboot of Bee and PuppyCat is coming to Netflix later this year! Created by Adventure Time’s Natasha Allegri and produced by Frederator Studios, the show follows the misadventures of a young unemployed woman named Bee and her alien furry critter PuppyCat.

Bee and PuppyCat synopsis: What is the show about?

Since Netflix is rebooting the popular series, they’ve provided their viewers with a short logline about the animation. It reads:

"“On a charming magical island, the impulsive Bee and her furry pal get up to all sorts of adventures while working for an intergalactic temp agency.”"

If you’re not previously aware of the series, you might not know what the premise of the show is, so allow us to catch you up. The Bee and PuppyCat series revolves around the misadventures of Bee (voiced by Allyn Rachel), an unemployed woman in her early twenties, who encounters a mysterious alien critter that she can only describe as a “puppy cat,” hence its name!

PuppyCat turns out to be an interstellar prince who whisks Bee away for some intergalactic quests and adventures across different planets. They’re tasked with completing little silly jobs through an interdimensional temp agency.

When is Bee and PuppyCat coming to Netflix?

Netflix announced that Bee and PuppyCat is coming to the streaming site on September 6, 2022!

While the cast for Netflix’s Bee and PuppyCat series has yet to be fully revealed on IMDb, the original voice actor of Bee, Allyn Rachel will be reprising her role. Watch this space for an update on the rest of the cast soon.

The animated series has an age certificate of PG-13. According to Common Sense Media, the show is geared towards “teens and girls in particular.”
