Buy The Sandman comics by Neil Gaiman before the Netflix series debuts

Written by Neil Gaiman, The Sandman is without a doubt one of the most popular fantasy graphic novels of all time. The DC Comics series follows the character Morpheus, the Lord of Dreams, as he’s captured by mortals in the Waking World. Once he’s free, he returns back to his realm but realizes a lot has changed since he’d been gone. Through his journeys, he meets new faces and deals with his siblings of the Endless, which includes Death, Desire, Despair, Destiny, Delirium, and Destruction.

After years and years of developmental hell to get The Sandman adapted, Netflix bought the rights in 2019 and started working on their 10-episode series. Finally, the show hits the streamer this Friday, Aug. 5, and it looks extremely promising.
