Kissing shows on Netflix

Granted, sometimes you might not be feeling up to a movie, so why not celebrate National Kiss Day with a selection of our top show picks!

  • Heartstopper (2022) – We had to kick things off with the incredibly witty, wholesome, and heartwarming LGBTQ+ series Heartstopper! It’s unmissable and totally in theme for kissy day. The movie follows two high school boys who are each other’s first loves, the official synopsis for the series reads:

"“Teens Charlie and Nick discover their unlikely friendship might be something more as they navigate school and young love in this coming-of-age series.”"

At the moment there’s only one season of the graphic-novel adaptation. There are eight episodes in total that you can binge through today!

  • Sex/Life (2020) – Given that this is one of our favorite shows, we just couldn’t leave it off the list! The steamy and sexy series follows bored housewife Billy as she gets reacquainted with her ex, and looks back through their hot and toxic romance. Throughout the episodes, there are several kisses that deserve some serious appreciation, so if you’ve yet to see Sex/Life we’d highly recommend you do. The official synopsis for the series reads:

"“A suburban mother of two takes a fantasy-charged trip down memory lane that sets her very married present on a collision course with her wild-child past.”"

Currently you can watch all eight steamy episodes on Netflix, and you best do it soon as Sex/Life season 2 is rumored to be just around the corner.

  • An Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts (2021) – In a world where astrology and birth signs tend to be a focus, what’s better than a series that explains why we’re going through our heartaches? The Italian original follows heartbroken and hopelessly single Alice, who after meeting a “charismatic astrology guru” gets her love life and career back on track.

The official synopsis for the series is as follows:

"“Alice is heartbroken and hopelessly single. But after befriending a charismatic astrology guru, she looks to the stars to find her perfect match.”"

You can binge through two seasons of An Astrological Guide for Broken Hearts! There are a total of 12 episodes that you can watch right now.

  • Jane the Virgin (2014) – Yes we know, kind of an on-the-nose choice here, but come on! Jane the Virgin is a classic and a perfect choice for National Kissing Day given that one of the biggest themes throughout the show was the perfect, time-stopping kisses that our favorite Latina shared with both Rafael and Michael. The official synopsis for the series reads:

"“Jane struggles to keep her unexpected pregnancy from taking over her life, but with her mom Xiomara pressuring her to sue the doctor who accidentally inseminated her, and her constant run-ins with the baby’s biological father, Rafael, life is anything but normal.”"

Well if you’re in the mood for a good old binge then Jane the Virgin is perfect! Right now, you can watch all five seasons of the hit series on Netflix. There are a total of 100 episodes in the show!

  • Love is Blind (2020) –What says National Kissing Day more than sharing your first kiss with someone only AFTER agreeing to marry them first? Love is Blind is one of Netflix’s hit reality shows and it follows several different couples in the lead-up to the big day. The official synopsis for the show reads:

"“Singles seeking romance who want to be loved for who they are, rather than what they look like, have signed up for a less conventional approach to modern dating.”"

Love is Blind currently has two seasons out that you can binge on Netflix; that’s 25 episodes that you can stream right now! Season 3 of the show is also rumored to be released soon, so if you’ve yet to binge through, now’s the time!
