Ahead of National Kissing Day on June 22 in the United States, we’ve taken the liberty of curating the perfect list of movies and shows currently streaming on Netflix in honor of smooch day. Whether you’re watching with a partner, single and want to live vicariously, or just want to indulge in some good old romance, we’ve got the top recommendations for you here.

Kissing movies on Netflix

  • The Kissing Booth – Would it really be National Kissing Day without kicking things off with the Kissing Booth saga? We don’t think so! Starring Joey King, Jacob Elordi, and Joel Courtney, the movies explore forbidden romance, teenage love, and friendship. Overall the series is a great easy watch, that will definitely satisfy all your smoochy needs.

The official synopsis for the first movie reads:

"“A pretty, teenage girl, who has never been kissed, finds her life turned totally upside down when she decides to run a kissing booth and unexpectedly ends up locking lips with her secret crush."

  • To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before – Just like The Kissing Booth, we couldn’t imagine a National Kissing Day without watching one of our favorite teen-rom-coms. To kick things off we would recommend starting with the first movie in the franchise, but don’t be shy, you can binge all of them in a day. Easy peasy. The movie stars Lana Condor as Lara Jean and Noah Centineo as Peter Kavinsky. The official synopsis for the movie reads:

"“What if all the crushes you ever had found out how you felt about them…all at once? Lara Jean Song Covey’s love life goes from imaginary to out of control when the love letters for every boy she’s ever loved—five in all– are mysteriously mailed out.”"

  • Isn’t It Romantic (2019) – A hilarious romantic comedy starring Rebel Wilson and Chris Hemsworth. After an unlucky-in-love New York City architect is rendered unconscious by a city mugger, she wakes up to find her world turned upside down. The official synopsis for the movie reads:

"“Natalie is an architect who gets knocked unconscious during an attempted mugging and finds herself in an alternate universe that has all the elements of a romantic comedy.”"

  • A Nice Girl Like You (2020) – A bit of a raunchy one but empowering nevertheless, A Nice Girl Like You follows a timid and prudish violinist as she comes into her sexual awakening after making a bucket list of all the things she wants to experience in the world of sex. The movie stars Pretty Little Liar‘s alum Lucy Hale in the main role.

The official synopsis for the movie is as follows:

"“After being accused of being too inhibited by her ex-boyfriend, a violinist creates a rather wild to-do list that sends her on a whirlwind journey of self-discovery.”"
