The Umbrella Academy season 3 trailer teases Sparrows vs. Umbrellas and more!

We’re inching closer every day to the release of The Umbrella Academy season 3 and further excite fans, Netflix just dropped the official trailer for the new episodes. Thus far we’ve gotten lots of posters of the Hargreeves and the new Sparrow Academy members, but no real footage, until now!

With Netflix Geeked Week right around the corner, we expected Netflix to wait until then to showcase the first trailer, but we’re not complaining about the earlier release! If you want to catch your first glimpse of Viktor, Diego, Klaus and a whole host of new characters, you’re in luck because the trailer delivers on all of that and more.

If you recall, at the end of season 2, the Hargreeves stopped yet another doomsday event from happening after being transported to the 1960s. Now they’re back in the present-day timeline, but things are all messed up.

Reginald Hargreeves was less than impressed with his “children” when he met them in the past and chose to redo everything with a new and “improved” bunch of superpowered kids. Enter the Sparrow Academy, who immediately clash with the Umbrellas in a violent face-off.

However, both groups may need to figure out how to work together when a destructive entity begins wreaking havoc.

The official trailer just dropped on May 19 and it’s definitely getting us hyped! Check it out below.

Looks like this will be another eventful season as the siblings have to fix the paradox they created, meanwhile the Sparrows they created are causing a ton of conflict for them. The trailer also drops a spoiler in the final moments by showing that Pogo is making his return!

The Umbrella Academy season 3 premieres on June 22, 2022 on Netflix.
