Dead to Me creator Liz Feldman will be back on Netflix with comedy No Good Deed

We got the great news that Dead to Me season 3 is coming to Netflix sometime in fall 2022. That’s only a few months away! The dark comedy is a Netflix fan-favorite and it’s all thanks to its creator, Liz Feldman. Variety reports Feldman is sticking around Netflix and the dark comedy genre to bring us a new original series, No Good Deed.

She certainly knows how to bring out a laugh. Besides Dead to Me, Feldman has also written scripts for television comedies 2 Broke Girls and The Ellen Degeneres Show. The news of the release date for the third and final season of Dead to Me also came with another piece of great news!

What is No Good Deed about?

According to Variety, No Good Deed will consist of 30-minute episodes that follow three very different families vying to purchase the same 1920’s Spanish style villa. They think the house will solve their problems. But as the sellers of the villa have discovered, sometimes the home of your dreams can be a total nightmare.

The new show is part of a multi-year deal between Feldman and Netflix. The talented creator will also serve as an executive director. She will be joined by executive producers Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, Brittney Segal of Gloria Sanchez Productions, Christie Smith, and Silver Tree.

Ferrell, Elbaum, and Gloria Sanchez Productions all worked with Feldman on Dead to Me as well. So we know we’re in good hands behind the cameras!

There’s still not much information about the show, so it’s hard to gauge whether it’s going to be good or not. I wonder what the deal is with the house. It sounds like it’s haunted. Though we don’t have many details yet, judging from the great approach Feldman has taken with Dead to Me, I’m sure she’s going to nail this next dark comedy series and it will become a new favorite for Netflix subscribers.
