A beloved series will be leaving Netflix this year, and we’re having a hard time accepting this to be true. The show in question is the popular comedy Schitt’s Creek. Unfortunately, it will be departing our favorite streamer later this year, so make sure you watch all that you can before the departure date. But if you can’t watch all six seasons beforehand, we’ve shared where the show will be available to stream next.

Schitt’s Creek is a Canadian sitcom created by the incredibly talented Dan Levy and his father, Eugene Levy. The story follows the lives of the wealthy Rose family, who suddenly find themselves broke and relocating to a small town called Schitt’s Creek, which they once bought as a joke. Forced to live in a motel, the formerly wealthy family must adjust to their new normal.

The comedy series has seen much success, winning various awards over its run, like two ACTRA Awards and 18 Canadian Screen Awards. It has also won two Golden Globe Awards and nine Emmy Awards. The show was truly a force to be reckoned with during its run.

It’s hilariously funny, showcases a positive representation of the LGBTQ+ community, and has likable characters and excellent storylines. We hate to see this amazing series go, but I guess we have no choice. Read on to find out when Schitt’s Creek will be leaving Netflix and where it will stream next.

When is Schitt’s Creek leaving Netflix?

As reported by VarietySchitt’s Creek will be departing Netflix on Monday, October 3, 2022. This means the last day to watch all six seasons of the comedy series on Netflix is Oct. 2.

October is far off from now, so I think you can manage to watch the complete series by the departure date if you’re persistent.

Where to stream Schitt’s Creek

On Oct. 3, the complete series will be streaming exclusively on Hulu. In order to gain access to all six seasons, you will have to have a subscription to the streaming service.

Although the TV show will be leaving Netflix soon, there is still a good selection of comedy series that will remain on the streamer until further notice. We recommend checking out Netflix originals Unbreakable Kimmy SchmidtWorkin’ Moms and Fuller House. There is also some good licensed content on the platform like The Good Place, Community and New Girl.
