A Perfect Pairing trailer, cast, release date, synopsis and more

Sip back, relax and unwine with the new feel-good romantic comedy A Perfect Pairing starring Victoria Justice and Sex/Life star Adam Demos. The charming romance is scheduled for release this May and Netflix just sent us a first look at the film.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend director Stuart McDonald will direct a script written by Elizabeth Hackett and Hilary Galanoy. The pair previously wrote romantic movies like Falling Inn Love and Love, Guaranteed. Hackett and Galanoy will also executive produce alongside Nathan Mayfield (Tidelands), Tracey Robertson (Tidelands) and Fernando Szew. Robyn Snyder (Falling Inn Love), Deborah Evans (Afterlife of the Party), Deborah Glover (Tidelands) and Tracey Vieira (Christmas on the Farm) are producing.

When does A Perfect Pairing come out on Netflix?

A Perfect Pairing will be debut globally on Thursday, May 19, 2022. Netflix projects come out at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET the day of release.

A Perfect Pairing cast

Victoria Justice stars as the female lead Lola, a former LA wine company exec, while Adam Demos plays a rugged ranch station manager named Max. Demos is best known for his starring role in the steamy Netflix series Sex/Life and he also starred in the Netflix film Falling Inn Love, from the same writers. Justice previously led the Netflix comedy Afterlife of the Party.

A Perfect Pairing synopsis

A former wine company sales executive in Los Angeles, Lola (Victoria Justice) quits her job to pursue her dreams of starting her own wine distribution company. She books a plane to Australia to appeal to a potential client, the Vaughn Family Wines.

Unfortunately, they’re not interested in doing business with a start-up, so Lola starts working at their sheep farm to prove herself worthy. There, she finds herself drawn to handsome local Max (Adam Demos).

"When Lola (Victoria Justice), a hard-driving LA wine company sales exec, quits her job in hopes of starting her own wine distribution company, she eagerly books herself a plane ticket to rural Australia to chase her first potential client, Vaughn Family Wines. Unfortunately for Lola, the Vaughn Family is not interested in doing business with a fledgling company. Eager to prove herself, Lola volunteers to fill a vacant position on the Vaughn sheep farm as a farmhand.At first, Lola doesn’t seem cut out for the tough work of mending fences and wrangling sheep, but she and the dashing station manager Max (Adam Demos) strike up a friendship as he trains her. And, as they open up to one another, Lola discovers that Australia has introduced her to much more than just a love for entrepreneurship with a newfound love for Max. But will Max’s secrets prevent Lola from reaping what she romantically sows?"
