Anatomy of a Scandal

The Netflix original limited series Anatomy of a Scandal is a recently released anthology drama. The series is based on a novel by Sarah Vaughan and stars Sienna Miller, Michelle Dockery, Rupert Friend, Naomi Scott and Josette Simon.

This series tells the story of one man who is a high-ranking politician, two women, one of which is his wife and a public scandal. This psychological thriller will keep viewers on the edge of their seats as it delves into the lives of Britain’s elite via personal and political scandal.

Hard Cell

The new mockumentary from British comedian Catherine Tate, Hard Cell, is now available to stream. This series features Tate as she portrays several characters in a prison where the inmates attempt to put on a musical to shed a different light on women who are incarcerated.

Set in the fictional women’s prison, HMP Woldsley, some of the characters Tate plays include the Governor, who believes creativity leads to rehabilitation to Big Viv, a psychopath lifer.

The mockumentary is set over a six-week period as the women rehearse for the musical and gain confidence and friendships along the way.

Our Great National Parks

The recently released limited series, Our Great National Parks, is a beautifully done documentary shining a light on the world’s best national parks.

Narrated by former president of the United States, Barack Obama, this five-part series transports viewers all over the globe to view a fraction of the over 4,000 national parks worldwide. From Africa to Japan to Australia to the US and beyond, this documentary highlights the parks and animals that call them home.

Married at First Sight

The Lifetime reality series, Married at First Sight has released season 10 on Netflix. The title of this one explains exactly what is in store.

The tenth season was the first to see five couples in the running and saw its participants from the suburbs of Washington DC. The couples are paired up by specialists, a spiritualist, a relationship coach and a sociologist, who use scientific matchmaking methods. The participants then agree to marry a complete stranger and, after several weeks, decide if they will remain married or end in divorce.

Elite

Elite, the Spanish thriller teen drama, released the fifth season on Netflix. This season will pick up after the season four shocking finale with additional short stories added in. Expect a lot of drama, romance, and of course, more scandal to be included in this season.

Elite is described as a soapy teen drama that follows the students at the exclusive boarding school in Spain, Las Encinas. If you can’t get enough of Elite, don’t worry because this series has already been renewed for a sixth season.
