Stranger Things season 4 trailer: 7 noteworthy moments you missed

Netflix made fans wait ages for the feature-length Stranger Things season 4 trailer, but the wait was absolutely worth it!

On April 12, Netflix debuted the first official trailer for the upcoming fourth season of Stranger Things which has quickly set the internet on fire and delivered a series of stunning first looks at the upcoming season.

From our first look at the season’s chilling new villainous creatures to glimpses of all of our favorite characters back together, the Stranger Things season 4 trailer was filled with jaw-dropping moments. So many that it was easy to overlook key moments without a second (or third) watch.

Fortunately, we’ve rounded up some of the trailer’s noteworthy moments you might have missed upon watching the trailer for the first time!

Stancy rises

It seems there might still be hope for the Stancy shippers after all! In a brief moment in the trailer, Steve and Nancy come together in an unidentified location in which they seem to be about to enact a plan telling one another they’ll each other on the other side. Could the latest events of the season thrust the pair back together?

Max levitates?!

While at Billy’s grave, Max is seen levitating in the air as Lucas, Steve and Dustin watch on in shock. Given Eleven doesn’t seem to be present, we have a lot of questions as to what could be going on with Max at the moment that leads to her levitating above the ground.

Could she perhaps gain some sort of abilities this season? Are we looking at possession? We’ll have to wait to see, but there’s definitely something interesting going down.

Steve ends up in the Upside Down

During a series of shots incorporated within various moments of the trailer, we see Steve in the Upside Down where it looks like he’ll be facing a lot of danger. Among the many shots is one of a shirtless Steve battling winged creatures with a massive blade — a shot that is sure to turn heads for more than one reason.

Robert Englund makes his Stranger Things debut

In a blink and you’ll miss it tease, Robert Englund makes his Stranger Things debut as Victor Creel. While there isn’t much context provided in the moment, the first look at Englund’s character is sure to send chills down your spine.

Murray and Joy stage a rescue mission?

In another brief moment, we see Murray and Joy bundled up in winter attire flying a plane in what could very well be Russia. Could they perhaps be staging a rescue mission to bring Hopper back home? It certainly seems like it! And who better to Hopper get out of his bind than Joy?!

Eleven returns to the Rainbow Room

In what appears to be a flashback sequence, we’re transported back to the Rainbow Room where Eleven seems to have just unleashed some major havoc on her captors as evident by her blood-soaked hospital gown.

Max ends up in the Upside Down

It seems Steve won’t be the only one making his way to the Upside Down this season! In an intense sequence, Max can be seen running through the Upside Down trying to get to a portal to the real world where three figures are waiting for her as a demonic creature is seen lurking in the background behind her.

Could this trip to the Upside Down be responsible for Max’s levitating moment at Billy’s grave? Who knows, but it seems Max will definitely be getting a juicy storyline this season!
