Once Upon a Time

Next up on our list of the best shows that Netflix needs to reboot is Once Upon a Time. It might be too early for a Once Upon a Time reboot, but this show is just too good to be completely done. Once Upon a Time was an ABC series that ran from 2011 to 2018 for a total of seven seasons. ABC truly had a gem of a show on their network with Once Upon a Time. Although the show basically retold classic fairytales, it brought the stories to life in a new way.

There are so many things about the show to love, like the perfect casting, the jaw-dropping plot twists, well-developed villains, compelling characters, the stunning cinematography, the magic and mystery, etc.

It makes sense why the show ended when it did because most of the fairytales had been told. But since the series’ conclusion in 2018, there have been many new Disney films that Once Upon a Time could use for source material in a reboot. So we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

I’m also not a huge fan of police crime dramas, but there was just something about Rizzoli & Isles. Yes, I enjoyed watching the different cases explored in each episode, but the strong chemistry between the main leads kept me coming back for more. Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander played off each other and worked well together. Their characters are so different, yet that’s what makes them such great friends. They balance each other out.

The supporting cast was outstanding, and the writing only got better with each season. Rizzoli and Isles was an addicting and exciting show, and even though it ran for seven seasons, I think it could have run for three more. Unfortunately, the possibility of a Rizzoli and Isles reboot is very low, but I’m not giving up hope.
