Vampire in the Garden is joining the many anime on Netflix very soon!

The upcoming title is similar to the likes of Owari no Seraph and The Case Study of Vanitas but has a pretty intriguing aspect that sets it apart from the rest of these vampire-centered series.

In addition to this, the 2022 title is animated by none other than WIT Studio, the same production studio that brought us Attack on Titan seasons 1 through 3 and Vinland Saga. However, the best part of this anime has to be the talented cast and crew who brought this project to life.

Save the date because Vampire in the Garden is coming to your Netflix screens on Monday, May 16 at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET.

The number of episodes that will be released on this date is unknown. However, based on the previous anime titles released by the streaming platform this year, we expect at least eight episodes.

Vampire in the Garden synopsis

The fantasy series follows the life of a young girl named Momo, who is at her wit’s end. Just as she gets ready to leave this world behind, she meets a vampire named Fine. From there, the two different species learn to co-exist in a world where humans and vampires despise each other greatly.

"One cold winter, humanity lost its battle with the vampires, and with it, most of where they called home.A small population of survivors created a wall of light in a small town to protect them and give them a place to live in peace.The protagonist, Momo, lives a repressed life but still wishes to coexist with the enemy, the vampires. Fine, the vampire queen, once loved humans and disappeared from the battlefield. As war rages through the humans’ town, the two have a fateful encounter.Once upon a time, humans and vampires lived in harmony in a place called Paradise. This is the story of a young girl and a vampire on a journey to find Paradise."

In addition to Hunter x Hunter voice actress Megumi Han who voices Momo in the series, and Record of Ragnarok‘s Yuu Kobayashi, who plays Fine, producer Tetsuya Nakatake, director Ryoutarou Makihara, and character designer Tetsuya Nishio all aided in making this anime possible.

Last but certainly not least, Inuyashiki‘s Yoshihiro Ike serves as our music composer for this title.
