Women in horror: Love Quinn from You

After You season 1, it seemed like any woman doomed to cross Joe’s path would be destroyed shortly after, and while Love does eventually find her demise at Joe’s hands, it’s not an easy downfall.

Joe meets his match in Love Quinn, a woman just as skilled at manipulation and murder as he is. In season 2, the pair work in tandem to get rid of their enemies. It’s not until season 3 that things really start to get rocky between this complicated couple. But two murderers dating are never really going to have a happy ending, are they?

Women in horror: Bee from The Babysitter

Samara Weaving has proven herself to have real scream queen potential in recent years, and part of that is attributed to her scene-stealing role in The Babysitter, which came out a few years before she broke out in Ready or Not. In The Babysitter, Weaving plays the titular role, a hot, popular and effortlessly cool babysitter named Bee who any kid would be lucky to have watching over them…right?

Well, there’s a twist. We soon find out that Bee is actually an evil devil-worshipping cult leader. It’s super entertaining to watch Weaving in this movie which works as both a slasher and a dark comedy. It’s tons of fun, and a big part of its success can be attributed to the character of Bee.
