Is Fresh starring Sebastian Stan on Netflix?

It’s an excellent time to be a Sebastian Stan stan! Between The 355, Pam & Tommy and now Fresh, there’s plenty of great content. His latest film promises to be one of his most sinister roles yet. Fresh is a new comedy thriller starring the 39-year-old actor and Normal People star Daisy Edgar-Jones.

Mimi Cave makes her directorial debut with this film with a screenplay by Lauryn Kahn. It currently has an impressive Rotten Tomatoes score of 82% approval, including a Certified Fresh seal, which is impressive, especially since Stan’s recent project Pam & Tommy also received high praise. It’s shaping up to be a good year for the Marvel star.

For those who haven’t heard of the movie, it chronicles a young woman named Noa (Edgar-Jones) on the dating scene who meets a handsome guy, Steve (Stan), at a grocery store. Noa soon realizes her boyfriend has a very…unusual appetite.

Is Fresh on Netflix?

Unfortunately, no, the film is not available to watch on Netflix. The movie premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, and Searchlight Pictures acquired the rights. Since Searchlight is a division of 20th Century Studios—parent company Walt Disney, the movie will not be on Netflix.

Where to stream Fresh starring Sebastian Stan

Since Disney owns Disney+ and Hulu, it makes sense that Fresh would be acquired by Hulu. The movie was just released today, March 4, on the streaming service. If you want to watch the film, you will need a Hulu subscription as it is technically a Hulu Original now.

There actually aren’t many Sebastian Stan projects on Netflix. Currently, just two of the actor’s movies are streaming: We Have Always Lived the Castle (based on the Shirley Jackson novel) and The Devil All the Time. If you want to watch something similar to Fresh, I highly recommend checking out Raw.
