Anyone waiting for Impeachment: American Crime Story to debut on Netflix is out of luck. The new season won’t stream on the popular streaming service due to recent changes in the licensing deal between Disney and Netflix.

You might have noticed a significant shift in the content on Netflix lately. First, the Marvel Netflix shows were removed, followed by American Horror Story. It looks like Disney is trying to gather all of its valuable properties for the company’s own streaming services: Disney+ and Hulu.

If you were in the middle of watching American Crime Story, you were probably upset to notice that the first two seasons were removed recently. The third and most recent season was never on Netflix, to begin with, or any streaming service, for that matter.

The third season of Ryan Murphy’s crime drama anthology series chronicle President Bill Clinton’s tumultuous time in the White House, most notably his affair with intern Monica Lewinsky. Clive Owen played the president while Beanie Feldstein starred as Lewinsky, and Sarah Paulson joined the pair as Lewinsky’s confidant (who ultimately betrayed her) Linda Tripp.

Where to stream Impeachment: American Crime Story

On Thursday, Hulu announced that Impeachment: American Crime Story would begin streaming shortly. So if you were watching it on Netflix and want to continue, you’ll need a Hulu subscription now.

TVLine says the 10-episode season will start airing on Hulu next week, specifically Monday, March 7. So at least you don’t have to wait too long before you get to watch it on the service.

Interestingly, Impeachment did not stream anywhere during its run last year (not even next-day like American Horror Story) due to a prior licensing agreement between Netflix and 20th Century Fox, so many fans are likely to be happy they can finally watch the third season next week when it lands on Hulu.

If you’re looking for something slightly similar to American Crime Story on Netflix, shows and movies like Inventing Anna, Worth, The Comey Rule and The Crown might appeal to you.
