The Monica Lewinsky Scandal might have happened in the late ’90s, but it’s still a popular topic to this day. It’s a continuing cultural obsession that is constantly revisited in the media because of its scandalous nature. We see this revisitation in Impeachment: American Crime Story.

I mean, the former President of the United States having an affair with a White House intern… It doesn’t get any more scandalous than that! This season retells the events that led up to former President Bill Clinton’s impeachment.

If you thought that the new installment would be told from Clinton’s point of view, you’d be wrong. This season is mostly told from Monica Lewinsky’s point of view. It tries to keep the focus off the Clintons, more specifically Bill, and more on the people involved in his impeachment (Monica Lewinsky, Linda Tripp and Paula Jones).

This season’s notable cast includes American Crime Story alumni Sarah Paulson, Judith Light and Annaleigh Ashford. Some other cast members a part of the TV show are Beanie Feldstein, Clive Owen, Margo Martindale and many more.

Is Impeachment: American Crime Story on Netflix?

Sadly, you can’t watch the third installment of the limited series on Netflix. This is because the true crime series’ third season hasn’t even aired yet. However, after the season finale airs on FX, you should expect the show to eventually make its way to the streamer.

We’ve seen this happen with the first two seasons because of a deal made between the network and Netflix.

In 2016, Variety reported that Netflix made a deal with FX and Ryan Murphy that gave the streaming platform streaming rights to all seasons of American Crime Story.
