Ryan Reynolds meets his younger self in the stunning official trailer for The Adam Project

Netflix is killing it with the trailer for the new film The Adam Project. I don’t think a trailer has gotten me this excited about a movie for quite some time! Netflix has speculated that this film will be one of its biggest for 2022.

Viewers are excited to see the release of the second season of the Netflix original Bridgerton in March and will also have The Adam Project to look forward to.

The film is a science fiction action film directed by Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) and written by Jonathan Tropper, T.S. Nowlin, Jennifer Flackett and Mark Levin.

The Adam Project is led by Ryan Reynolds, who plays Adam, and Walker Scobell plays a younger version of the same character. They are joined by Zoe Saldaña, Catherine Keener, and Alex Mallari Jr., and this film reunites fellow 13 Going on 30 actors Mark Ruffalo and Jennifer Garner.

The film is the second to pair up Levy and Reynolds after their most recent collaboration with Free Guy.

The trailer has been released, and wow! This looks like a fantastic film.

Reynolds is a time-traveling fighter pilot who crash lands in the present and enlists the help of his 12-year old self to confront their late father, played by Ruffalo. Somehow this interaction has something to do with saving the future as they “come to terms with his past while saving the future.”

Luckily viewers don’t have a long time to wait for The Adam Project to release on Netflix as the date is set for March 11.

Reynolds is no stranger to Netflix as he recently starred in the original action-comedy Red Notice and 6 Underground, also an original film for the streamer. Don’t miss Reynolds’ two other movies available on Netflix, Self/Less and Green Lantern.
