Is Free Guy on Netflix?

After being delayed, the Ryan Reynolds action-comedy Free Guy has finally arrived. Now that it’s here, many Netflix subscribers are eager to know if the movie directed by Stranger Things executive producer Shawn Levy is one of the options to view on the streaming service.

In Free Guy, viewers will get to experience Reynolds taking on the role of Blue Shirt Guy, an NPC or non-playable character, in an open world, Grand Theft Auto-esque video game that becomes sentient and attempts to make himself into the hero of the story. The concept, humor, and cast have all earned the movie the coveted certified fresh honor on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Deadpool star isn’t the only big name attached to this exciting endeavor as it also stars Killing Eve actress Jodie Comer as Millie in the real world and Molotov Girl in the game Free City. Taika Waititi, director of the upcoming MCU flick Thor: Love and Thunder, is also in the mix, but this time in front of the camera as the video game’s eccentric creator.

Given the hype and praise the Fox motion picture is receiving, it would seem that Free Guy was definitely worth the wait, and many people are right to wonder where they can see it. With all the movies available today on so many platforms, it makes sense there would be inquiries as to whether or not it is on the streaming service Netflix.

Is Free Guy available on Netflix?

In video game terms, anyone looking for Free Guy on Netflix will get a “game over” and will not have the chance to put in more quarters before time runs out on the continue screen. The comedy starring the erstwhile Van Wilder is not on the streaming service.
