Ozark season 4 part 1 cast: Who’s in the new season?

Fans of the Netflix original series Ozark are counting down to the season 4 premiere date. Season 3 was released in March 2020, so the wait has been extensive. The fourth and final season of the series will be released in two parts, with the first, consisting of seven episodes, being released on Jan. 21.

Ozark follows the Byrde family, who suddenly moves from Chicago to Lake of the Ozarks to launder money for a Mexican drug cartel. Each season sees the family go deeper into the crime world as they encounter more unsavory criminals and embark on new illegal schemes.

The fourth season will pick up where the third ended. Marty and Wendy witnessed the shocking death of someone by a cartel boss that they are tied to. Adding to that, their right-hand girl Ruth has changed sides, which will cause even more issues.

New faces include Bruce Davison, who will play retired Illinois Senator Randall Schafer, and Alfonso Herrera will portray Javi Elixonndro, a member of the Narravo family. Adam Rothenberg has also been added for season 4 as Mel Sattem, a former cop turned P.I., Bruno Bichir will join as Navarro’s Priest, CC Castillo as Sheriff Leigh Guerrero, and Katrina Lenk will portray a pharmaceutical CEO, Clare Shaw. Veronica Falcón and Ali Stroker have also been added for this season.

There is a fan theory that Wendy’s brother Ben wasn’t killed. If this proves to be true, then viewers would also see the return of Tom Pelphrey in his role as Ben. There have been no announcements to this effect, but it would be an interesting twist in an already twisted storyline.
