Netflix has done it again with the new Harlan Coben series Stay Close. The series is part of Coben’s five-year deal with the streamer that will see a total of 14 of his novels adapted. The new series was released on Dec. 31 and is number 2 on the Netflix top TV shows.

The new Netflix original series follows Coben’s other series The Stranger, Safe, The Woods, and more. In the deal with the streamer, Coben serves as a producer for all of the projects.

Stay Close follows Megan (Cush Jumbo), whose happy family life is turned upside down when events of her past come back to haunt her. Along with four others, she must face the past as it invades their present lives threatening to ruin them all.
