Seinfeld

Seasons: 9

Created By: Larry David and Jerry Seinfeld

Starring: Jerry Seinfeld, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michael Richards, Jason Alexander

After The Office and Friends left Netflix, it seemed as though there weren’t any hugely popular sitcoms from the past at the ready to binge-watch. But this year, Netflix gave us the gift of Seinfeld, with all nine seasons of the landmark comedy available to stream.

Of course, the famous series is known as the “show about nothing,” because the sitcom found the humor in the mundane. Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a version of himself, a comedian who deals with the relatable ups and downs in dating, friendships, and career.

Seinfeld produced 180 episodes across nine seasons and aired from 1989 to 1998 on NBC as one of the Must See TV leaders. Beyond super high ratings, the sitcom also nabbed multiple award wins, but it’s the unending pop culture relevance that’s the most impressive.

If you’re missing some of the biggest comedy hits that have since departed Netflix, it’s time to watch Seinfeld for either the first time or the millionth time. Right now, it’s definitely one of the funniest and hands-down best comedy shows on Netflix.
