Christmas may be over, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t still exciting things to come. 2022 arrives this week along with a ton of new movies and shows on Netflix. Whether you’re looking for a new season of a fan-favorite series, a new season of a makeover show, or a new series based on a popular book, the streaming service has something for everyone.

Cobra Kai is back! Season 4 of the series hits Netflix on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021. This is the perfect way to end the year!

The series follows Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence 14 years after the events in The Karate Kid. They are still rivals but are dealing with much more adult issues.

At the end of season 3, we saw Danel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence’s karate students teaming up to beat the students from Kreese’s Cobra Kai. We’ll likely see how they perform in the tournament and who comes out on top.

More in the mood for some makeovers? Queer Eye season 6 is also coming to Netflix this week on Friday, Dec. 31, 2021. The guys are back, and they’re headed to Texas to provide a new group of lucky people with a whole life makeover. From clothes to hair to their homes, it’s all getting redone, and they all might just learn something about themselves during the process.

Take a peek at the trailer here:

Fredrik Backman has written multiple bestselling books. This includes Anxious People, which has been adapted into a series. The series comes to Netflix on Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021.

The show follows the story of a failed bank robber who locks himself into a home with a real estate agent, two IKEA addicts, a pregnant woman, a millionaire who is suicidal, and…a rabbit.

They are all taken hostage by the bank robber, and as they spend more time together, long-held secrets are revealed. The bank robber did not realize what he was getting into when he entered this house.

This week also brings I Know What You Did Last Summer, The NeverEnding Story, and both Willy Wonka films on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022.
