There are always rumors about Stranger Things, especially season 4 since it’s been so long since we’ve seen new episodes. But, the rumors are starting to swirl online again around the holidays.

The latest rumor is that the Stranger Things season 4 is coming to Netflix in July 2022, and if the rumor is to be believed, we might be finding out the official release date soon.

Will the Stranger Things season 4 release date be announced on Christmas?

The new rumor comes from Deuxmoi, which has shared a number of Stranger Things season 4 release date rumors. It claims that Stranger Things season 4 is scheduled to premiere on July 1, 2022, and the news will be announced on Christmas.

So far, Netflix has not confirmed anything about the season 4 release announcement. There’s, of course, still time for that to happen.

Netflix has announced Stranger Things release dates on holidays before. As you may recall, Netflix announced the Stranger Things season 3 release date on New Year’s Eve/Day 2019. The third season, then, premiered over the Fourth of July weekend in 2019.

This new rumor is suggesting that will happen again, basically, for Stranger Things season 4 with the new season dropping on the Friday before the Fourth of July weekend in 2022 and the release date getting announced on Christmas.

Will it actually happen? Honestly, we don’t know. It’s just the rumor of the day at this point, but you should definitely keep checking in on the Stranger Things circles when you can. It sounds like we’re going to learn something soon, even if it’s not that exact release date.
