Netflix has enough Christmas-themed choices to keep you entertained the whole month of December. There have been many new releases, but don’t forget the old standbys as well, especially with some of the best funny Christmas movies on Netflix.

When a blizzard strikes and shuts down air travel, the kids get a chance to see what kind of mischief they can get into at the airport. They try and avoid an uptight airport official and his bumbling assistant, and it’s very funny.
Holidate
Holidate is a cute romantic comedy about single people during the holidays. The ones who must endure the unending questions about their love lives from meddling family members. Two strangers, who are tired of dealing with this issue at each family gathering, agree to be each other’s dates for any of the family holidays.
A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas
This one isn’t for the faint of heart. A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas takes place seven years after the original Harold & Kumar film, and the titular characters have grown apart. This comedy is a buddy stoner film and contains crass jokes.
But if you are already of fan of the duo, you know what to expect.This installment takes them on holiday antics, and Neil Patrick Harris, who plays a fictionalized version of himself, joins them once again.
Just Friends
Ryan Reynolds and Amy Smart star in Just Friends, a hilarious romantic comedy. During Christmas, Chris Brander (Reynolds) returns to his hometown after leaving 10 years ago. He runs into his high school crush Jamie (Smart) and finds his feelings for her haven’t left.
By returning to his home, Chris will have to face demons from his past and deal with family and friends during the holidays. Anna Faris, Christopher Marquette, Chris Klein, Julie Hagerty, and Stephen Root also star in the holiday comedy.
Christmas Survival
Christmas Survival is a humorous story about two sisters, Miranda and Lyla, who decide to spend the holidays with their families at their childhood home.
The sisters, their families and extended family members spend three days together in the dilapidated country home that belonged to their late parents. Sisterly rivalries resurface, bringing with it enough chaos to possibly ruin the holiday gathering.
In true British comedy fashion, hilarity ensues, and this movie will make your dysfunctional family seem quite normal.
Father Christmas is Back
A new Netflix original film, Father Christmas is Back reunites four sisters in a Yorkshire mansion. Caroline, the control freak of the family, wants to host the perfect holiday at her lavish country manor.
As the festivities start, their estranged father arrives unexpectedly with his new, much younger girlfriend. Many mishaps and misunderstandings occur during the story and a long-buried family secret comes to light.
A Very Murray Christmas
You can get much funnier than Bill Murray and his Christmas musical special will not disappoint. Joining Murray is an all-star lineup of talent: George Clooney, Paul Shaffer, Amy Poehler, Julie White, Dimitri Dimitrov, Michael Cera, Chris Rock, and David Johansen, Maya Rudolph, Jason Schwartzman, Jenny Lewis, Rashida Jones, and Miley Cyrus.
Murray’s live Christmas special is threatened by a massive snowstorm that causes most of his guests to cancel. The producers of the special, Liz (Poehler) and Bev (White), convince him that the show must go on, or he will be financially liable. From that point on, he encounters many new people experiencing major issues because of the storm, and Murray tries to make the best of it all.
Christmas Break-In
The feel-good comedy Christmas Break-In is a fun for the family movie. Izzy, a young girl, gets stranded at her school because a blizzard prevents her parents from picking her up before the holiday break. Only she and the custodian remain at the school, that is until three bad guys decide to use what they assume is an empty school for their hideout.
The trio kidnaps the custodian, and it is up to Izzy to rescue him. She goes into full Kevin McCallister mode to take down the bad guys.
Let It Snow
The romantic comedy Let It Snow is based on a same-titled novel by Maureen Johnson, John Green, and Lauren Myracle.
A snowstorm hits a small midwest town on Christmas Eve, which requires a pop star to spend the night in this small town. He meets some local teens, which leads to an epic party at the local diner, Waffle Town.
White Christmas
White Christmas is a classic Christmas musical that was released in 1954. The film stars Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen.
WWII soldiers Bob Wallace and Phil Davis team up to form a song and dance act. They meet the sister duo of Betty and Judy, who have an act as well. They all travel to Vermont to perform a Christmas show at the Columbia Inn, a ski resort. Bob and Phil are surprised to learn that the inn is owned by their former commander General Waverly. They decide to bring their whole Christmas show from New York to the inn to help out the general, who has no paying guests due to the lack of snow.
