Vanessa Hudgens Christmas movies on Netflix
The Princess Switch (2018)
The first movie in the Princess Switch series is now one of our favorite films to watch at Christmas! While preparing for the Royal Christmas Baking Contest, Stacy (Vanessa Hudgens) is approached by a stranger who happens to share an uncanny likeness to her, with an even stranger request!
After a life of royal obligation, Duchess Margaret Delacourt (Vanessa Hudgens, again) wants to experience life as a “normal person” before she dutifully marries the Crown Prince of Belgravia. Of course, nothing goes to plan, and with the many twists and turns, it’s definitely a holiday movie that will fill you with some festive cheer!
The official synopsis for the Netflix original movie reads:
"“One week before Christmas, a duchess switches places with an ordinary woman from Chicago, who looks exactly like her, and they each fall in love with each other’s beaus.”"
The Knight Before Christmas (2019)
The Knight Before Christmas follows a medieval knight named Sir Cole Christopher Frederick (Josh Whitehouse), who time travels to 2019 America with a quest to become a “true knight” after an old lady he tried helping turned out to be a powerful magical being. But once he meets Brooke (Vanessa Hudgens), things are turned upside down, and he realizes his true quest has been to “fall in love.”
The official synopsis for the Netflix original movie:
"“A medieval knight is transported to the present day, where he falls for a high school science teacher who’s lost her belief in love.”"
The Princess Switch: Switched Again (2020)
Back again for the next installment in the Princess Switched series, Vanessa Hudgens reprises her roles as Stacy and Margaret Delacourt for another adventure after the Duchess unexpectedly inherits the throne of Montenaro. However, as coronation approaches they decide to switch places once more to give Margaret the chance to fix her relationship with Kevin (Nick Sagar). Of course, some things go wrong, especially with “evil” cousin Lady Fiona Pembroke (Hudgens) now in the picture.
The official synopsis for the Netflix original movie:
"“Duchess Margaret unexpectedly inherits the throne to Montenaro and hits a rough patch with boyfriend Kevin at the same time. It’s up to her double Princess Stacy to get the star-crossed lovers back together.”"
The Princess Switch 3: Romancing the Star (2021)
The latest Christmas Netflix original movie in the Princess Switch saga sees Stacy and Margaret turn to “audacious doppelgänger” Fiona (all played by Vanessa Hudgens) for help to retrieve a priceless Christmas relic after it got stolen from the royal trove. With the help of Peter Maxwell — a former flame of Fiona’s — the trio gets into the madness of switches and mishaps.
The official synopsis for the Netflix original movie:
