8 best Netflix shows that still haven’t been renewed (2021)

Black Summer premiered on Netflix in April 2019. Fans had to wait more than two years for Black Summer season 2, which was released on Netflix in June 2021.

Obviously, the pandemic played a big part in that major delay, but Black Summer fans should be used to waiting right now. Unfortunately, since season 2’s premiere on Netflix this summer, Netflix has not renewed Black Summer for season 3 yet.

What’s happening? Is Black Summer canceled?

Well, it’s hard to say at this point. In the past, I would have said Black Summer was going to be canceled on Netflix. The streaming network almost never waited this long to announce renewals, but things have changed a bit lately. We’ve seen some shows have to wait months to get officially picked up, and Black Summer might be one of those shows.

Unfortunately, Black Summer is one of the Netflix shows of 2021 that failed to really make an impact. The fact that it hasn’t been officially canceled yet is a good sign, but it’s not looking very promising that Black Summer season 3 will happen.

I hope I’m wrong!
