The Saved by the Bell reboot is inspired by the 1989 series of the same name. In this reboot, it follows the lives of a new group of teenagers who attend Bayside High. The group is split up into low-income and overprivileged high school students.

The revival was developed by Tracey Wigfield and stars an amazingly talented cast of young actors such as Haskiri Velazquez, Mitchell Hoog, Josie Totah, Alycia Pascual-Peña, Belmont Cameli and Dexter Darden.

Some of the cast members from the original series are also a part of the reboot. Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, Mario Lopez, Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tiffani Thiessen all reprise their respective roles in the Saved by the Bell reboot. Lark Voorhies, who played Lisa in the original series, has made an appearance in the reboot as well.
