Remember when Ariana Grande was an actor and had a role in the Nickelodeon sitcom, Victorious? Of course, this was before she became one of the world’s biggest pop icons. The comedy series follows aspiring singer Tori Vega, played by Victoria Justice, who gets accepted into Hollywood Arts, a performing arts high school. In each episode, we see Tori get into crazy situations that she must find her way out of. Other than Victoria Justice and Ariana Grande, the cast includes other actors you’re probably familiar with, such as Dynasty‘s Elizabeth Gillies, Shaft‘s Avan Jogia, Daniella Monet, Leon Thomas III, and Matt Bennett.

Is Victorious on Netflix?

Yes, the comedy sitcom is available to stream on Netflix. However, only seasons 1 and 2 are on the streaming platform. All three seasons of the series arrived on Netflix in November 2019, but then on Nov. 1, 2021, season 3 was removed from the streamer. We have no idea why Netflix decided to remove the third season.

However, according to What’s on Netflix, they believe that ViacomCBS (the company that owns Nickelodeon) uses Netflix as a promotional tool for Paramount+. We’ve seen this be done in the past with other ViacomCBS owned shows like Evil. At one point, Netflix had licensing rights to Evil, and then when the contract was up, the show moved to Paramount+.

By the time Evil moved to Paramount+, the series had already built a strong fanbase, and people started wondering where they could watch the entire series. So after the show departed from Netflix, all traffic shifted to Paramount+. ViacomCBS is basically using Netflix to raise viewership numbers for its shows so that by the time a show moves to Paramount+, a lot of people are subscribing to the streaming service.

This could very well be the reason why season 3 of Victorious is no longer on Netflix. After people finish seasons 1 and 2 on Netflix, they’re going to start searching for where they can watch the third and final season. So, where can you watch the last season?

You can watch all three seasons of the teen series on Paramount+. Once people realize that they can watch all seasons of the series on Paramount+, they’ll start a subscription. So, this could be ViacomCBS’s plan all along.
