Best Netflix movies of 2021: Outside The Wire

Outside The Wire premiered on Netflix on Jan. 15, 2021. With so many action movies shelved until later in 2021 or even delayed until 2022, Outside The Wire is easily one of the top action movies we’ve seen in a long time.

The film stars Anthony Mackie, Damson Idris, Emily Beecham, Michael Kelly, and Pilou Asbæk.

Mackie plays an android supersoldier of sorts who accompanies Lt. Thomas Harp, played by Idris, behind enemy lines to stop a terrorist from getting ahold of nuclear weapons in a future earth. It’s so wild!

We’re hoping we’ll get to see Outside The Wire 2 on Netflix sometime in the future. If you like action movies, this is definitely a movie you need to watch on Netflix. It’s one of the best action movies we’ve seen since The Old Guard and Project Power in the summer of 2020 on the streaming service.
