When it comes to campy teen horror dramas, the more bonkers the better, and Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina certainly delivers on that front. While the main character shares a name, a black cat and a signature blonde hairdo in common with Melissa Joan Hart’s iconic ‘90s version of Sabrina Spellman, the series from Riverdale creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is in a class all its own.

If you’re down with all the weird teen chaos of the hit CW series, you’re definitely going to have a blast in Greendale. Kiernan Shipka plays the titular Sabrina, a teenage witch coming to terms with her half-mortal status and the evil forces at play in her past, present and future. Don’t expect talking cats and misguided witchy mayhem in this iteration of the Sabrina Spellman saga. These adventures are very much chilling, thrilling and wonderfully dark, complete with explorations of the occult, demons and the devil himself.

Beyond Shipka’s excellent leading performance, the series also stars standouts like Ross Lynch, Lucy Davis, Miranda Otto, Gavin Leatherwood, Tati Gabrielle, Michelle Gomez and many more.

Even though Netflix canceled the fan-favorite Riverdale companion series after just two seasons, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will always be a must-watch addition to any Halloween binge session.
