Army of Thieves cast: Who’s in the Netflix movie?

Are you ready for Army of Thieves to drop on Netflix on Oct. 29? We sure are! You can never get tired of a good ole heist movie. With a gripping plot and amazingly talented cast, it’s definitely going to be one of the best Netflix movies of 2021.

Army of Thieves is the second installment in the Army of the Dead franchise. It’s a prequel to Army of the Dead, set six years before the first film. It’s set in the early days of the zombie apocalypse, so don’t expect to see many zombies.

With all the success Army of the Dead achieved, we expect the same for the prequel when it releases on the streaming platform. However, there’s a brand new cast for this upcoming heist film.

When it was revealed that this film would be a prequel, I thought we’d still get to see the characters from the first film. I thought we would get to see their lives before the undead started taking over. But, unfortunately, that’s not the case. Well, there is one character from the first film who’s included in the prequel. In fact, he’s the protagonist in Army of Thieves.

Army of Thieves cast

The only cast member in this film who you’re already familiar with from Army of the Dead is Matthias Schweighöfer. He reprises his role as Ludwig Dieter in the second film. We would also like to mention that Hiroyuki Sanada, who plays Bly Tanaka in the first film, is mentioned in the second film. Everyone else in this movie is entirely new to the Army of the Dead franchise.
