Power Rangers Dino Fury season 2 has found a home at Netflix. The show’s first season, which is available to stream now on the platform, has been a feature on the streamer since its premiere on Nickelodeon. However, the series is now making the jump to Netflix exclusively.
While this is sure to be a disappointment to Nickelodeon fans who watch the kids action drama solely on the channel, Netflix securing the licensing rights to season 2 could mean more Power Rangers content could be coming to the streamer in the future.
No, we’re not talking the franchise’s library which, according to Deadline, departed the platform in February. We mean new content. As the publication pointed out, Power Rangers Dino Fury is one in a line of children’s series that have made Netflix their home.
Pokémon, My Little Pony, Transformers, and more have expanded their series in spin-offs and specials on the streamer. The same could happen with Power Rangers but for now, all eyes are on Dino Fury season 2’s arrival.
When will the new season premiere? Here’s what we know!
Power Rangers Dino Fury season 2 release date
The sophomore season of the newest Power Rangers show is set to make its debut in Spring 2022. A more specific release date has yet to be announced.
Fans won’t have to worry about the series going through a soft reboot now that it’s changing platforms. Season 2 will start where the first season left off.
Viewers can expect new characters, weapons, vehicles, and Zords but the cast from season 1 will be making their return. Fans of the show will have more adventures with Zayto, Aiyon, Amelia, Izzy, Javi, and Ollie at the forefront of the story.
A prime focus of season 2, besides all the new gadgets and power-ups, will be Aiyon and Zayton’s quest for more information on their home planet, Rafkon.
We’ll keep you posted on more Power Rangers Dino Fury season 2 news as it comes in. Stay tuned to Netflix Life!
