Fatherhood is one of the best Netflix movies of the year so far. The new Netflix original film premiered on June 18, 2021, right before Father’s Day.

The movie is based on the true story and book, Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love
by Matthew Logelin. It tells the true story of Matthew Logelin’s life after Lizzie passed away. Lizzie is Logelin’s wife and mother of their child, Maddy.

Kevin Hart plays Matthew Logelin in the Netflix movie. It explores what it means to be a single parent and father.

Get the tissues ready for this one! There are some times that it is funny, as expected, but it’s a tough watch. I still highly recommend it, but you just have to be in the right mood.

I was really impressed with Hart’s performance in the film. Hart definitely showed a side we hadn’t seen before.
