One of June’s most anticipated Netflix movies is arriving on the streaming service soon! The Netflix original dramedy Fatherhood will drop on June 18, 2021. The film stars comedian Kevin Hart in a more dramatic performance as a widowed dad discovering what it means to be a full-time father.

Fatherhood is based on the book Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love by Matthew Logelin, whom Hart plays. This feel-good movie is dropping on Father’s Day weekend and will be a great offering on Netflix to watch with your dad.

Alongside Hart, the film co-stars Lil Rel Howery (Get Out), Alfre Woodward (Clemency), Anthony Carrigan (Barry), DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Melody Hurd (Them), and Paul Reiser (Aliens).

What time is Fatherhood on Netflix?

Fatherhood will be released on Netflix at 12:01 a.m. PT on Friday, June 18.

Fatherhood is going to be one of June’s most prevalent titles for Netflix, especially as it features a name-brand comedian taking on a more serious role. It’ll be fascinating to see if Hart can prove his chops as a dramatic actor and might even open doors for a future career path for the famous stand-up performer.

It’ll be interesting to see whether Fatherhood will manage to elevate itself beyond the stereotypical warmth and drama that it ostensibly adheres to in the trailer. It would be cool for audience members to want to recommend the film as a whole, on top of highlighting what’s sure to be a notable Kevin Hart performance on which the movie is so clearly placing a lot of capital.

Make sure to add it to your watchlist and even carve out some time to sit down with your dad and watch it on Father’s Day weekend.
