How old is Theo in You season 3?

You season 3 introduces a whole bunch of new characters, including fan-favorite Theo, who is played by Dylan Arnold.

Some mild spoilers ahead for You season 3!

Theo is the son of Joe and Love’s neighbor, Matthew (Scott Speedman), and the step-son of Natalie (Michaela McManus), the woman who Joe becomes obsessed with for a time in the new season of the Netflix original series. 

Out of all of Joe and Love’s neighbors in season 3, it’s Theo who becomes a major play in this story because of his relationship and proximity to Love.

How old is Theo in You?

In You season 3, Theo is a college sophomore at Stanford, and he is only 19 years old.

I use “only” because there’s clearly some chemistry with Love, an older and married woman in the series.

Victoria Pedretti, who plays Love, is 26 years old in real life, but Love, I believe, is much older than Theo in the show. She’s been married twice and been with Joe for a while now, right? And, she is a trained pastry chef with a body count. That’s pretty old in TV years.

Fun fact: Dylan Arnold, who plays Theo in You season 3, is 27 years old! Arnold was born on Feb. 11, 1994.

Pedretti was born on March 26, 1995. She’s 26 years old.

So, in real life, Arnold is one year older than Pedretti (11 months actually!), but in You season 3, his character in at least seven or eight years younger than Pedretti’s character.

Now, when you’re with all of your friends, family, and co-workers (or even just the random people you meet and want to impress with fun facts) and talking about the new season of You, you can share that Arnold is actually older than Pedrett in real life. Everyone will love that you know that.
