You is easily one of the most popular Netflix shows. Fans love You, the Netflix original series starring Penn Badgley as Joe Goldberg and Victoria Pedretti as Love Quinn.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s been an incredibly long time since we saw Joe and Love in. You season 2. Luckily, You season 3 is coming to Netflix soon.

The new season is one of the best and biggest new releases of October and of the year. There are a few more big shows coming to Netflix in 2021, but whether they will be more popular than You season 3, that remains to be seen.

There’s no doubt You season 3 is one of the best Netflix shows coming in 2021, and you know the series is on the list of the best Netflix shows to watch right now.

You season 3 date

You season 3 premieres on Netflix on Friday, Oct. 15, 2021.

By the time the new season premieres, it will have been 659 days between seasons. That’s a really long time. We shared a You season 2 refresher below, so you remember what happened at the end of You season 2 to prep you for You season 3.

You season 3 time

You season 3 will be released on Netflix at 12:01 a.m. PT on Oct. 15. Of course, that’s just after 3 a.m. ET, so it’s much harder for those on the East Coast to stay up late or wake up super early.

We know from experience that there will be tons of fans staying up all night to binge-watch the new season as is tradition with so many Netflix shows. You know we’ll be staying up late for the release of the new season.

You season 3 episode titles

We don’t have the full list of You season 3 episode titles yet, but we do know the first episode.

  • “And They Lived Happily Ever After”

We’ll share the remaining episode titles when we find out!

How did You season 2 end?

Spoilers ahead for You season 2!

Using Candace’s help and his own smarts, Forty puts together that Joe is, in fact, a serial killer. He tries to confront and kill Joe, but he’s killed by the plot officer at Anavrin. Joe and Love get away with killing Henderson, Candace, and Delilah in season 2.

At the very end of the season, we see Joe and Love moving to the suburbs with their new baby. We’ve since learned that baby is a boy named Henry.

We also see Joe take an interest in his neighbor, and it looks like that “interest” will continue into You season 3.

You season 3 plot

I love the synopsis for You season 3 so much! If you want to know what the new season is going to be about, check out the synopsis, via Netflix, below:

"In Season 3, Joe and Love, now married and raising their baby, have moved to the balmy Northern California enclave of Madre Linda, where they’re surrounded by privileged tech entrepreneurs, judgmental mommy bloggers and Insta-famous biohackers. Joe is committed to his new role as a husband and dad, but fears Love’s lethal impulsiveness. And then there’s his heart. Could the woman he’s been searching for all this time live right next door? Breaking out of a cage in a basement is one thing. But the prison of a picture-perfect marriage to a woman who’s wise to your tricks? Well, that’ll prove a much more complicated escape."

You season 3 cast

We shared the full You season 3 cast below.

Penn Badgley and Victoria Pedretti are, of course, back as Joe and Love in season 3.

Saffron Burrows, who stars as Dottie Quinn, Love’s mom, is also back for You season 3. Those three make up the only confirmed returnees from season 2.

The rest of the You season 3 cast is rounded out by Tati Gabrielle, Michaela McManus, Dylan Arnold, Scott Speedman, Shalita Grant, Travis Van Winkle, Scott Speedman, Shannon Chan-Kent, Ben Mehl, Chris O’Shea, and Christopher Sean.

It’s been confirmed that McManus will star as Natalie, Joe and Love’s neighbor who we saw at the end of You season 2.

Is there going to be a You season 4?

Previously, it looked like we’d have to wait for Netflix to renew You for season 4 after the release of season 3. That all changed on Wednesday, Oct. 13, when Netflix announced You season 4 was officially happening.

That’s amazing news!

We’re expecting to see You season 4 on Netflix in 2022.

Watch You season 3 on Netflix on Oct. 15.
