What is the scariest movie on Netflix?

There are so many many great horror movies, thrillers, and family-favorite movies to watch on Netflix for Halloween 2021. To help keep you entertained all Halloween season, we shared a list of the best Halloween movies on Netflix right now, but which is the scariest movie on Netflix?

Everyone has a different level of what they can tolerate in a horror film. For me, I can watch almost anything except torture horror movies. The scarier, the better for me! I want to jump out of my seat.

For most viewers, what classifies as a scary movie is how real the scene feels to them. And that depends on what your fears are.

We highly recommend There’s Someone Inside Your House, The Babysitter and The Ritual on Netflix, but those didn’t make this list.

Let’s get the list started with His House, and we saved the scariest one for last.

His House

His House is a horror-thriller and it’s quite chilling. The Netflix original movie premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2020 and has reserved widespread critical acclaim.

This film is written and directed by Remi Weekes, which is adapted from a story by Felicity Evans and Toby Venables. The story follows a refugee couple trying to acclimate to their new life when they find themselves in the midst of an evil presence in their new resident. But, this isn’t a spooky old gothic mansion but a simple run-down house.

The suspense will keep you guessing with strange undertones that are of the supernatural. Often, it is almost dream-like, but not in a comforting dream state but a nightmarish fever you can’t shake.

His House will not only scare you; it will stay with you long after the credits roll.
