Will the Teen Wolf revival movie stream on Netflix?

Teen Wolf fans asked and MTV has listened! Although it’s only been four short years since Teen Wolf ended its 6-season run on MTV after 100 episodes, fans have been actively campaigning for the show to return and those pleas have finally been answered.

On Sept. 24, 2021, MTV celebrated the show’s series finale anniversary by announcing plans to bring the series back for a brand new revival movie.

Although details on the film are being kept under wraps at the moment, the network has revealed the film will be overseen by series creator Jeff Davis and will feature the returns of several original cast members including lead Tyler Posey.

Needless to say, the Teen Wolf fandom is buzzing about the news and curious to know everything there is to know about the project including where it will be available to stream. Considering Netflix was one the streaming home for the show during its time on air, will the Teen Wolf movie be coming to Netflix?

While Netflix has become home to several incredible movies in recent years, the Teen Wolf movie will not be one of them. Unfortunately, the upcoming revival movie will not be making its way to Netflix which isn’t too surprising when you consider the series itself is no longer available to stream on Netflix.

Where will the Teen Wolf movie stream?

While the Teen Wolf movie will not be available to stream on Netflix, it will be available to stream just on a different platform. As confirmed by MTV, the Teen Wolf stream exclusively on Paramount Plus revival movie will which is also set to be home to Jeff Davis’s newest supernatural series, Wolf Pack. 

Teen Wolf movie release date

MTV and Paramount Plus have not yet confirmed when the Teen Wolf movie will be releasing, but we do know the film is set to release sometime in 2022.

Given the series traditionally aired during the summer months on MTV with many of its seasons beginning in June, it’s likely the revival movie will release sometime in June 2022.
