One of Us Is Lying is a teen murder mystery television series that is about five high school teenagers who all have detention at the same time. When one of the high schoolers dies from being poisoned in detention, the other four high schoolers become suspects in a murder investigation.

The high schooler that dies (Simon) is known to be a gossiper around the school, so the other four high schoolers have reasons to hate him. But the murderer may not be among the high school students who had detention with him. It could be anybody.

The series has been described as a mix of two classic films: The Breakfast Club and I Know What You Did Last Summer. After viewing the trailer, I would say this is an accurate description. However, I would also say that this series reminds me of Pretty Little Liars. You know, with the murder mystery and all.

The mystery drama is written by Erica Saleh and directed by Once Upon a Time‘s Jennifer Morrison. The cast comprises young talented actors such as Mark McKenna, Cooper van Grootel, Marianly Tejada, Annalisa Cochrane and Chibuikem Uche.
