Once Upon a Time is leaving Netflix in September 2020

All seven seasons of Once Upon a Time are leaving Netflix next month

There’s some bad news, Oncers. There isn’t long left to binge-watch all seven seasons of Once Upon a Time again!

All seven seasons are leaving Netflix on Sept. 5, 2020. This is your warning so you can start a new binge-watch now. You can also download some of the later episodes in case you can’t get through them. They’ll be available for a little while after the title leaves Netflix. Yes, that’s the trick I use a lot!

It was only a matter of time before the seven seasons left. After all, it was licensed to Netflix and the show ended in 2018.

Where is Once Upon a Time heading?

It’s not clear where the ABC series is going to stream next, but we have some thoughts about that. As an ABC show, it’s now owned by Disney. And of course, Disney owns both Hulu and Disney Plus.

Once Upon a Time could certainly head to either of those platforms. With it being all about fairy tales, Disney Plus would make the most sense. I’m sure there are some tweens and younger children who watch it.

However, it could be considered too mature at some points in the series. Disney may decide it will work better on Hulu instead, similarly to how Love, Victor moved to the less child-friendly streaming service.

We just don’t know the decision yet.

Now is your last chance to binge-watch Once Upon a Time

This is certainly a series that’s worth bingeing again. You’ll see some things that you never noticed the previous times you’ve watched, no matter how many times you’ve caught it.

Relive the fairy tales and the partnerships we never saw coming.

It all starts with Emma Swan getting a visit from a young boy who says that he is her son. She takes him back home, where she is pulled into a world of fairy tales without realizing at first. Snow White, Prince Charming, Little Red Riding Hood, and more are trapped in the real world, cursed by the Evil Queen. Only Swan can break the curse, but will she do it before the Evil Queen gets to her first?

Season 7 did see an attempt to reboot the series with new characters, but it just didn’t quite work in my opinion. It didn’t help we lost the Charmings.
