When news broke that a new movie was coming out called Karen, social media went haywire. Many people believed that it just didn’t make sense to add more fuel to the fire with everything happening in the world.

If you’re not familiar with Karen, it’s a crime drama movie about a racist woman who makes it her mission to torment an African-American couple who just moved into the neighborhood. The film is written and directed by Coke Daniels and stars Taryn Manning, Cory Hardrict and Jasmine Burke.

It’s a made-for-TV movie, and it made its theatrical debut on Sept. 3. It doesn’t seem that viewers are enjoying this thriller film because the audience score for this film is 25%, which according to Rotten Tomatoes, means the film is rotten, a.k.a. not good.

However, we think you should still watch Karen to see what happens for yourself. We’re about to tell you where you can watch this drama film, so keep reading.

Is Karen on Netflix?

If you were hoping to watch Karen on Netflix, you might want to start looking at other places because this movie is not on Netflix. However, your favorite streamer always has your back with alternatives.

If you’re looking for a thriller movie specifically, you should check out the Netflix original film called A Fall from Grace. This film will have you at the edge of your seat with its twists.

Another option is the Netflix movie Aftermath. This movie is similar to Karen because it’s about a young couple moving into a new home and being terrorized by someone.

If you missed the theatrical release, you can watch this film when it airs on BET on Sept. 14 at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT. Seeing as though Karen is a BET original movie, it makes sense that this film is on BET.

Also, if you miss the air date, there will be an encore on Sept. 17 at 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT on BET. The film will probably eventually be released on BET’s streaming service called BET+, so be on the lookout. Will you be watching Karen when it makes its way to BET?
