Aftermath starsThe Following actor Shawn Ashmore and Twilight favorite Ashley Greene. That’s a different pair, but both are talented actors so we should expect a great film! The film also has a supporting cast comprised of Britt Baron, Sharif Atkins, Ross McCall and Diana Hopper.
Aftermath made its debut on Netflix on Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2021 and is currently trending on the streamer. Why is it trending, you ask? Well, it premiered today, and I guess people want to see what Aftermath is really about and how the story will play out.
Let me tell you what this horror film is about!
What is Aftermath about?
Our favorite streamer provided us with the synopsis of Aftermath. You can read about it below.
"Desperate to save their marriage, a young couple takes a deal and moves into their dream home, but disturbing events reveal the house’s troubled history."
This synopsis definitely follows the model for a good horror flick! But we’re left with questions of what is the house’s troubled past? Is the house haunted? Is someone terrorizing the new occupants? Will this house bring the couple back together, or will it be the relationship’s demise?
Let’s check out the Aftermath trailer below:
Based on this trailer, it looks like the house could either be haunted or a previous occupant is messing with the married couple. We also see the couple still going through their relationship issues, like Ashmore’s character possibly having an affair.
Maybe the married couple needs a fresh start from each other, and I’m not talking about separation. I’m talking about a divorce.
I guess we won’t know how this story unfolds and ends unless we go watch this horror-thriller. So, get your drink of choice and some popcorn and start streaming Aftermath on Netflix!
