Manifest is a show that twists and turns quickly. The sci-fi mystery drama recently took the internet by storm after NBC canceled the series leading to a campaign that won the show a fourth and final season as a Netflix original.

Season 3 of the series upped the ante on the mystery at the center of the plot. It also introduced a new adversary for Ben with the character Eagan Tehrani.

Introduced in episode 3 of the third season, entitled “Wingman,” it seemed at first that Eagan would be an ally. Ben was sent to him by a calling and the two men worked together to rescue a teenager whose life was hanging in the balance. With the clock ticking, the two managed to save the teen before a museum exploded. However, their partnership would be short lived.

Eagan’s photographic memory allows him to remember every detail of the callings he’s sent. It’s a powerful ability, one that would make him an asset to anyone he’s willing to help. Ben could have used him as an ally but, in season 3, the two become adversaries fighting against each other’s separate goals.
